Join us for a creative session of drinking & painting down in our Coffee House with Crafternoon & professional artist Emma Kenny.
Ticket includes two hours of painting time, an A3 canvas and easel, plenty of acrylic paints and brushes, palettes, an apron and a tote bag to take your masterpiece home in.
The workshop will take place in the DR Cross Room in RSA House where drinks wine, beer and soft drinks and snacks with be available to purchase.
The is a freestyle acrylic painting event where you are able to paint whatever you like, under the guidance of a professional artist. If you have an idea of what you'd like to paint then we'd recommend printing out a picture rather than using your phone - it's easier to reference from and encourages you to properly indulge in a bit of a digital detox. If you don't have something in mind then we provide dozens of example paintings that you can either copy or just use as a guide. Our aim is to bring out your inner artist by encouraging you to express yourself in a laid-back environment. You don't need any painting experience to attend, in fact, most of our Crafternoon-ers haven't picked up a paintbrush since school!

This is a pre-ticketed even and spaces are not guaranteed unless booked in advance. Your order confirmation will act as your ticket, just show us on arrival.

Rsa House has been home to the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce) and its 30,000 strong fellowship since 1774 as well as some of the greatest thinkers and social activists of the past 200 years. Some notable names of past and present fellows you might recognise include Charles Dickens, Dame Judi Dench, Sir David Attenborough and Professor Steven Hawking.
The Coffee House is open to the public Mon-Fri from 8:30am. We host ticketed event throughout the house regularly and there is something for everyone. Everyone is welcome.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.

12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
