Join us for the first in a series where we host SHORTIES in our Durham Street Auditorium.
On Friday 26th of April we are screening 5 shortfilms all made by women, all different genres and themes with a multitude ofpowerful messages. On the line up we've got a dance film, an animation, acomedy and a docu-short. Your ticket will include a welcome drink on arrivalwhere you'll be invited to claim your industry title with a badge - this couldbe; Director, Producer, Writer, Designer or Camera. This will help aid anddirect networking with other women working in film - Shorties is where you canmeet your film making tribe! The night will then conclude with an openconversation with the creators of the short's and you'll have your chance toask questions and get involved.

As well as screening a diverse range of short films, our organisation prides itself on creating an immersive and interactive experience for our audience. One of the ways we achieve this is by hosting engaging Q&A sessions and thought-provoking discussions, expertly mediated by the esteemed Lois Brabin Platt. With her exceptional skills as a mediator, Lois encourages a panel of accomplished female professionals to take the stage, providing a platform for them to discuss their personal journeys and share their invaluable insights into the ever-evolving industry. This unique approach not only fosters a deeper understanding of the challenges and triumphs faced by women in the industry but also empowers our audience with knowledge and inspiration to pursue their own passions and dreams within the field.

RSA House has been home to the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce) and its 30,000 strong fellowship since 1774 as well as some of the greatest thinkers and social activists of the past 200 years. Some notable names of past and present fellows you might recognise include Charles Dickens, Dame Judi Dench, Sir David Attenborough and Professor Steven Hawking.
The Coffee House is open to the public Mon-Fri from 8:30am. We host ticketed event throughout the house regularly and there is something for everyone. Everyone is welcome.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. 4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.

12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
